About Me

Hello, my name is Nicole, and I'm a brand marketer based in Santa Barbara, CA. I was raised in the Pacific Northwest, where I developed a love for the outdoors, community, and the values of hard work and humility. I moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue my passion for surfing and graduated from Loyola Marymount University with dual degrees in Marketing and Graphic Design. I began my career path, which merged my love for creativity with my passion for brand impact.

During my time at The North Face, I was apart of a team that grew and nurtured the brand's social community from 1.7M to over 10M followers. This experience made me realize the value of a values-driven, impactful brand. It was also a time of immense personal and professional growth, where I worked with individuals who questioned "why," maintained a curious mindset, and worked to build a more equitable outdoors.

As a social media professional, I have acquired a variety of hard and soft skills necessary to succeed in this field. There was never a playbook for social media, so I attribute my success to having a growth mindset, connecting with consumers, and living the brand in order to be the voice and representation on social.

Outside of work, I enjoy getting outdoors, visiting new places, and meeting new people. I am an avid skier, biker, hiker, and have recently picked up surfing. Being in nature fuels my creativity, rejuvenates my spirit, and broadens my perspective. During my downtime, my partner and I enjoy hosting our friends for backyard get-togethers, cooking, or perfecting my sourdough bread recipe. Our Labradoodle, Scout, brings endless joy, cuddles, and love into our lives.

As I embark on the next chapter of my journey, my goal is to join a values-driven brand where I can foster brand growth and engagement while staying true to my values of empathy, positive leadership, and authenticity.
